Embassy Activities

Mr Siphiwe Stephen Fundakubi of the South African Embassy undertook a working visit to Izmir to meet with the Izmir Honarary Consul, Mr Tamer Taşkın and as part of this visit the Embassy along with Association of South African students in İzmir, thanked Mr Taşkın for all the support and hard work he has been doing as Honorary Consul.

As part of the scheduled working visit by the South African Embassy to Izmir with the Honarary Consul Mr Tamer Taskin, the Embassy also held meetings with the Izmir Development Agency and the Izmir Automotive Group Members at Aegean Region Chamber of Industry.

Part of the meeting also included a meeting with TURSAB on the digital Travel Turkey İzmir iniative. The Embassy also took the opportunity to follow-up on matters of mutual interest within the Tourism sector.
