"South Africa’s uniqueness and celebrating 25 years of progress" South Africa’s uniqueness stems from its peaceful transition from an imperialist rule and the brutal regime of Apartheid to the Democratic elected government of 1994. It has been twenty-five years since the birth of a truly free, independent state, which is founded of the values of democracy, non-racialism, non-sexism and which is united as it aspires for a world that is just and equitable.
