Opening Ceremony of Eskişehir Exhibition
As an honoured guest for the "Mandela's Suitcase and Colours from the World" Art Exhibition by Odunpazarı Municipality, Ambassador Malefane visited Odunpazarı district, Eskisehir for the celebration of Nelson Mandela 100 Years Centenary under the theme "Be a Legacy".
Adviser to the Mayor of Odunpazarı Municipality Mr Özgür Bas and his team from culture and press introduced the Odunpazarı Ottoman Social Complex, Porsuk river area, Odunpazarı Wooden Works Museum, "Kurşunlu Külliyesi" Historical Complex, and Hamamyolu Poject to Ambassador and Madam Malefane accompanied with Mr Sercan Meric from Sözcü Newspaper, and Collector Mr Emre Sefer.
During Eskisehir visit Ambassador Malefane also attended the league match between Eskişehirspor against Adanademirspor as the guest of Odunpazarı Mayor Mr Kazim Kurt
Opening Ceremony of “Mandela’s Suitcase and Colors from the World” Painting Exhibition took place at Contemporary Art Gallery in Odunpazari, Eskisehir
The Exhibition is opened with the participation of the Republican People’s Party Eskisehir Deputy Mr Utku Cakirozer, Mayor of Eskisehir Metropolitan Municipality Prof.Dr. Yilmaz Buyukersen, Mayor of Odunpazarı Municipality Av. Kazim Kurt, Mayor of Han Municipality Mr Erdal Sanli and Ambassador of the Republic of South Africa HE Pule Malefane. Curator of the Exhibition Mr ibrahim Karaoglu, Head of Eskisehir City Council Mrs Nuray Akcasoy and also several art-lovers attended the exhibition which will be open from 3 March to 12 April 2018 to public from 10:00-20:00.
