South African Delegation visits Azerbaijan
26 February – 2 March 2018
The non-resident South African Ambassador to the Republic of Azerbaijan, H E Pule Malefane, will be visiting Azerbaijan from 26 February – 2 March 2018 on an official visit.
Ambassador Malefane will be accompanied by officials from the South African Embassy in Turkey, representatives of the Department of International Relations and Cooperation as well as a business delegation from South Africa.
The programme will include meetings with Azerbaijan government officials, the Mayor of Baku, a signing of a cooperation Memorandum of Understanding with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry to facilitate and provide a framework for trade relations between South Africa and Azerbaijan, a Trade and Investment Seminar to be held on Wednesday 21 February in cooperation with the Investment Promotion Foundation, the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Diplomatic Institute. Ambassador Malefane will also deliver a lecture marking the Centennial of Nelson Mandela on 27 February at the Ada University from 13h00-15h00.
