Embassy Activities

AFRICA DAY 2016 was celebrated on 3rd June 2016 at the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) in Ankara.  A tourism seminar with the theme “Tourism in Africa: Culture and Heritage”, a part of the Discovering Africa Series, an exhibition showcasing African countries tourism potential and a photo exhibition of African Heritage Sites formed part of the celebration.  

Mr M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of TOBB and H.E. Mr Lotfi Aouad, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco and Dean of the African Diplomatic Group, were the keynote speakers at the Seminar and also opened the Embassies and African Heritage photo exhibitions.
