Farewell Dinner in Honour of the Cape Town Delegation
Honorary Consul of South Africa Tamer Taskin, owner of Petrofer Industrial Oil Company and former President of EBSO as every year hosted a farewell summer dinner with the participation of the Mayor of Cape Town, Patricia de Lille and her delegation. To the dinner hosted by Mr Taskin and his Spouse many businessmen in the tourism field attended.
In his speech after the dinner Mr Taskin spoke about the ongoing process of twining cities of Izmir And Cape Town and added that with this project our relations in tourism and industry sectors will improve. We have decided to work together because they have seen that Turkey is the hub country to any other country. We are saying farewell to summer but in Cape Town summer is just next door. We are planning to visit Cape Town with a delegation in February.
The Mayor of Cape Town indicated that this is her second visit to Turkey and mainly they were in Izmir. I am very pleased with the hospitality shown towards us. I hope our relations will improve. I believe by the end of this year the twinning project will be finalized. After her speech Mr Taskin gave a gift to the Mayor of Cape Town.
